Michael Naidoo

Michael Naidoo currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of Business Development at Mitsui & Co., Ltd., a position held since April 2025. Prior to this, Michael Naidoo amassed nearly two decades of experience at Anglo American, where roles included Trading and Sourcing Manager for Coal and Battery Minerals, Logistics and Optimisation Manager for Commercial Africa, Book Owner for Coal Marketing, and Geology Manager within the Thermal Coal division. Earlier in the career, Michael Naidoo worked as an Exploration Geologist for African Rainbow Minerals Limited in the Assmang Iron Ore Division. Academic credentials include an MBA from Henley Business School, a Management Excellence Programme from GIBS Business School, and a B.Sc Honours in Geology, as well as a B.Sc in Geology and Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
