Founded in 2016 by Tarrnie Williams and Ben Sheftel, MixCast Studios Inc. is a software developer and entertainment company situated in Vancouver, BC. Our primary focus has been the development of MixCast, a proprietary, world-class capture solution for the Film and TV industry, enabling filmmakers to film real people within 3D digital environments in real-time. MixCast is a state-of-the-art software engine that permits actors and cameras to move freely within a photorealistic virtual environment, offering a filming experience akin to being on an actual set. We are able to volumetrically sync real-world elements and 3D digital environments, enabling cameras and filmmakers to see and film both at the same time.
