Sam Hyer currently serves as a Client Executive in Employee Benefits at The MJ Companies, having held the position since August 2022. Previously, Sam was the Senior Operations Director for the Office of Governor Eric J. Holcomb in the State of Indiana, where responsibilities included serving as a liaison to various executive branch agencies and advising on policy initiatives. Prior roles also include Legislative and Public Policy Director at the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Legislative Director at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and Senior Legislative Assistant for the Indiana House of Representatives Republican Caucus. Sam began a career in politics as a Communications Intern for the Indiana Republican Party and an Intern for U.S. Senator Rob Portman. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Butler University.
