Herman Chui

Herman Chui is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager at MKS Instruments since 2008, following roles as Sr. Director of Marketing and Sr. Director of Product Marketing. Prior to MKS Instruments, Chui held various leadership positions, including Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development at New Focus from 1999 to 2008, and roles in strategic marketing and engineering at HP from 1995 to 1999. Chui began a career at Sandia National Laboratories as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 1994. An educational background includes a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, completion of 17 courses toward an MBA at Santa Clara University, and a BS and BA in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Mathematical Sciences from Rice University.
