With a distinguished 24-year career in the Indian Army, Col Trehan's roles included Director of Procurement, where INR 4000 Cr worth of contracts were concluded, and extensive leadership in logistics and strategic operations, particularly in high-stress environments such as United Nations peacekeeping missions.
