Moira Weinberg

Moira Weinberg currently serves as Senior Vice President, Investigations & Deputy General Counsel at Major League Baseball, a position held since January 2016, where Moira heads the Department of Investigations. Prior to MLB, Moira worked at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from September 2007 to January 2016, focusing on general litigation, with an emphasis on fraud, complex contract disputes, and employment litigation. Additional experience includes a role as Legal Secondee at Citi and serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the New York County District Attorney's Office, where Moira prosecuted over 1,000 cases. Moira holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from Tulane University.
