Sara Scott is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the media industry. Since January 2012, Sara has served as the Senior Director of News at MLive Media Group, overseeing news coverage in Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Jackson, and previously held roles such as Director of Local News & Investigations and Regional News Manager. Prior to joining MLive Media Group, Sara was associated with the Jackson Citizen Patriot from June 2003 to January 2012, progressing from Associate Editor to Director of State News. Sara's career began in reporting at Ypsilanti Press and Jackson Citizen Patriot, where coverage included public safety, education, and city politics. Sara holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Eastern Michigan University.
