Chao Wang

Chao Wang is a Mining Engineer at MMG Limited, with a focus on delivering 13-week rolling schedules and long-term mine plans, as well as producing underground development and stope note designs since August 2020. Previously, Chao held roles as a Senior Analyst in Operational Planning and Optimisation, and as a Specialist Technical Advisor, where responsibilities included tracking and analyzing the performance of copper and zinc mines and supporting the Value Optimisation process. Prior experience includes managing operations management at Minmetals, focusing on performance analysis, and serving as a Technical Assistant at Sinobo Group, conducting project analysis and risk evaluation for overseas investments. Chao's educational background includes a Master of Professional Engineering in Mining Engineering from The University of Western Australia and two degrees from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in Mineral Resource Prospecting and Exploration, and Mineral Resources Engineering.
