Prior to this role, Mark Boyes founded MB Consult in April 2020, offering freelance consulting services to tech companies on specialist business development projects, including audio hardware manufacturers and SaaS start-ups. From May 2016 to April 2020, Mark Boyes co-founded and acted as Chief Operating Officer at Audiogum, a SaaS provider known for creating Smart, Social, Connected Audio experiences. Mark Boyes has extensive experience in the music industry, having held positions such as Global Head of Independent Music Rights Holders at both MixRadio UK Limited and Microsoft, and Global Account Relationships Manager for Music at Nokia. Preceding these roles, Mark Boyes had a lengthy tenure at Nokia in various account management positions and began a substantial career at Universal Music Group, culminating as Head of Sales for Mercury Records.
