Sourav Sarkar has worked in two companies, Mobilewalla and Capgemini. Sourav began working at Mobilewalla in 2023 as a Cloud Platform Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Capgemini from 2019 to 2023 as an Associate Consultant. In this role, they were responsible for Unix administration, troubleshooting user access, OS Patching testing, Postfix, SMTP, networking, firewall access TCP UDP, DNS proxy, Extending disk through LVM, NFS & CIFS drive mounting, ACL permission, DNS issue Cronjob, generating ssh key to access another server, Samba, Yum Repository in Linux Infrastructure, managing the ticket to the SLA, end-to-end monitoring, maintaining GIT overflows for version control, and developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins.
Sourav Sarkar obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College between 2014 and 2018. In July 2022, they obtained two additional certifications - AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate 2022 from Udemy and The Unix Workbench from The Johns Hopkins University.
