David received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Pennsylvania State University, followed by postdoctoral training at Yale Medical School. He is currently the Caspar Wistar Professor and Director of the Systems and Computational Biology Center, as well as Scientific Director of the Proteomics and Metabolomics Laboratory at the Wistar Institute. His research focuses on improving proteomics and mass spectrometry methods, and applying state-of-the-art proteomics and metabolomics approaches to diverse biomedical research problems.
