Michael Wolf has a diverse work experience in software engineering and game development. Michael started their career as an Usher at Cinemark in 2012. Later, they worked at Monster VR as an Assistant Lead Game Developer, where they contributed to the development of a multiplayer VR climbing/racing game called "Sweet Escape VR". Additionally, they developed core climbing mechanics and multiplayer lobby systems for the game. After that, they joined WellTold Entertainment as a Lead Software Engineer, where they worked on the production of "Foglands VR" and developed experimental systems, including a physically based combat system for VR. Michael then worked at Silicon Storm as a Lead Game Developer, leading a team in the development of several games for the AR/VR marketplace. Michael has experience with various technologies and platforms, such as Vive, Oculus Rift, Microsoft Hololens, GearVR, Google Cardboard, and Google Cardboard. In 2018, they interned as a Software Engineer at MobilityWare, and later joined the company as a Software Engineer, obtaining the role of Software Engineer II in 2023. Overall, Michael Wolf has a strong background in software engineering and game development, with experience in both VR and non-VR projects.
Michael Wolf received an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Golden West College from 2013 to 2017. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Michael is enrolled at Laguna College of Art and Design, where they are working towards a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree focusing on Game Design, from 2021 to 2023.
