Andrew Smith is a seasoned engineer with extensive expertise in railroad signaling systems. Currently serving as a Senior Signal Engineer at Modern Railway Systems since November 2021, Andrew previously held the position of Senior Project Engineer at Alstom from May 2008 to December 2021, leading engineering project teams in railroad signaling. Additionally, Andrew worked as a Lead Signal Engineer, focusing on design for application logic software in signaling control systems. Earlier experience includes a role as a Factory Signal Test Technician at GE Transportation from May 2005 to October 2007. Andrew holds a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Devry University, completed between 2002 and 2005.
