Chris Ridley

Chris Ridley serves as the Vice President of Communications and Media at Moderna since May 2022, following a tenure as Senior Director of Media Relations at Gilead Sciences where Ridley was the Global Head of Corporate Media Relations. Prior experience includes leading public affairs and CSR communications at Gilead Sciences, managing corporate reputation at Edelman, and consulting in public affairs and communications. Ridley's legal experience spans roles in risk management and compliance at Genentech and Roche, as well as directing communications strategy for political campaigns. Ridley holds a JD from Albany Law School and a BS in Political Science from Saint Peter's University, along with a certificate in Healthcare Compliance from Seton Hall University School of Law.
