Emma Harrington

Emma Harrington is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as the VP, Global Quality Head Drug Product at Moderna since November 2020. Prior to this role, Harrington held the position of VP Quality at Novartis from May 2018 to November 2020 and was the Head of Novartis Country Quality US. With a strong foundation in quality management, Harrington's earlier roles included Executive Director Quality at Sandoz and Site QA Head at Novartis. Experience also includes managing Quality Systems and Vendor Management at CIBA Vision, where a successful Supplier Management Program was developed. Harrington began the career as a Senior Validation Engineer at Autocal Ireland. Educationally, Harrington holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Dublin City University, obtained in 2000.
