Paul Kelly

Paul Kelly serves as the Executive Director of Facilities and Engineering at Moderna since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Head of Engineering and Maintenance at Novartis from February 2016 to April 2018, where Paul oversaw engineering activities with a focus on automation, compliance, and maintenance practices, achieving significant cost reductions and improved operational efficiencies. Prior to Novartis, Paul held various director-level positions at Amgen from January 2007 to February 2016, including Director of Engineering and Director of Facilities and Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed managing teams, ensuring compliance with global standards, and leading maintenance excellence initiatives. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin, completed in 1997.
