Roland Rocafort

Roland Rocafort is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Facilities & Engineering at Moderna since June 2021, Roland has held key leadership roles at Amgen, where responsibilities included Executive Director Engineering and Executive Director - Plant Manager from March 2010 to June 2021. Prior to that, Roland worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as Director of Engineering from May 2001 to March 2010, and at Johnson & Johnson as Business Unit Manager from 1992 to 1998. Roland began a career in engineering as an Automation Specialist at Jet Propulsion Laboratory between 1989 and 1990. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University, respectively.
