Tara Tibbs Jones

Tara Tibbs Jones, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Global Drug Product Operations at Moderna, a position held since March 2022. Previously, Tara held various leadership roles at Amgen from August 2004 to March 2022, including Vice President of Drug Substance Operations and Executive Director of multiple divisions such as Business Transformation and Global Operations. Tara's extensive experience encompasses overseeing cross-functional manufacturing operations, leading initiatives to enhance product development capabilities, and managing significant budgets and large teams. Tara obtained a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University. Additionally, early career experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Centocor.
