Paolo Bertolotti, PhD, has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Paolo is currently the Founder and CEO of ModernFi, a position they have held since 2022. In addition to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Bertolotti is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, starting from 2023. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2022. And before that, they were a Quantitative Researcher at AQR Capital Management from 2016 to 2017.
Paolo Bertolotti, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Complex Systems and Statistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Paolo completed this program in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Operations Research: Financial Engineering from Columbia University in 2016.
