Josef Lindman Hörnlund is a co-founder and lead machine learning engineer at Modulai since April 2018. Before that, they worked as a lead data scientist at Record Union from November 2016 to March 2018, and as a chief data scientist at AppData from February 2015 to March 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of lead data scientist at Collector from February 2014 to February 2015, and worked as a data scientist at Klarna from January 2012 to February 2014. Josef's work experience also includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Université libre de Bruxelles from July 2011 to December 2011.
Josef Lindman Hörnlund pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their studies at Linköping University from 2002 to 2004. During this period, they completed a part of their bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics. Following this, they enrolled at Chalmers University of Technology from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Physics. Lastly, Josef Lindman Hörnlund attended Université libre de Bruxelles from 2008 to 2011, completing their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics.
