Richard Leigh has a strong background in digital marketing and eCommerce with experience spanning over two decades. Richard is currently serving as the Group Digital Marketing Director at Modulaire Group since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at British American Tobacco, where they held the positions of Global Head of Digital (eCommerce) from August 2017 to June 2020, and Head of Digital from May 2015 to August 2018. At British American Tobacco, they successfully led digital strategies, drove online revenue growth, and implemented multi-channel advertising communications.
Before joining British American Tobacco, Richard Leigh served as the Director of Digital Marketing and eCommerce at Euro Car Parts Ltd. from November 2013 to May 2015. Richard also has extensive experience at Dell, where they held various roles including Global eCommerce Director from November 2008 to November 2013. Richard was responsible for managing eCommerce operations and sales for international customers, as well as leading key business initiatives and managing global teams.
Richard Leigh's career in digital marketing and eCommerce started at Eurostar, where they worked as a Senior Project and IT Manager from February 1996 to February 1999. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong track record of achieving revenue growth, implementing successful digital strategies, and leading global teams.
Richard Leigh earned a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from Bournemouth University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in Green Belt BPI from Six Sigma in April 2003.
