Jon Uland has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jon started their career as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Dark Energy, where they implemented strategic communications for promotions and events. Jon then worked at Qualtrics Survey Software as a Web Developer/Designer, where they designed and developed custom survey themes and led the launch of a WYSIWYG survey designer. At Needle - Advocate-powered CX, they served as a Demand Generation Marketing Associate and built trigger-marketing campaigns and developed a lead scoring strategy. Jon then joined Peloton as an Email Marketing Manager, managing marketing operations and increasing online sales. At Teachable, they held two roles, first as a Marketing Operations Manager and later as Head of CRM, where they developed communication strategies and pioneered data-driven reporting. Jon then worked at Warner Music Group as the Director of CRM & Artist Engagement, empowering independent music artists. Jon co-founded Stitch VIP, a membership management platform, and founded Mapvi. Most recently, they founded and served as the Principal of The Uland Agency, a marketing consultancy that was acquired by Modular, where they currently hold the position of Senior Director of Operations.
Jon Uland attended Brigham Young University, where they obtained a B.A. in Public Relations. In 2023, they also obtained certification in Iterable Foundations from Iterable.
