Jørn Eirik Erlund has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1991, they served as a Personelloffiser/Kullsjef BSIV/HIS and later as an NK-tropp BSIV in the Norwegian Armed Forces. In 1993, they joined Minimaskiner AS as a Sales Engineer until 1997 when they became a Sales Manager at Keddell & Bommen A/S. In 2000, Erlund became a Sales Manager at IRM Norway AS before transitioning to roles at Optimera AS, including General Manager and later Regional Manager. In 2008, they joined Mestergruppen AS as a Purchasing and Category Manager (Nordek AS). Erlund then worked at Mapei AS as a Sales Manager before joining Fundament Gruppen AS in 2018 as a Project Manager. Most recently, in 2022, Erlund became the Chief Sales Marketing Officer at Moelven.

Jørn Eirik Erlund obtained an Engineer's Degree in Building & Construction from the Army College of Engineering in Hønefoss from 1987 to 1990.
