Amanda White

Acting Director & Special Advisor, Indigenous Initiatives at Mohawk College

Amanda has worked at Mohawk College within Indigenous Student Services (ISS) for nearly eight years. In her current role as the Manager of Indigenous Student Services, Amanda oversees the ISS team, Elder visits, cultural awareness activities, student success initiatives, and provides support and direction for the highly acclaimed Pathfinder: Indigenous Youth Program summer experience. As the Manager, Amanda feels her role “supports students holistically as we don’t just educate the mind, but we support development for the student as a whole - mind, body, spirit and emotional - at Mohawk College”.
