Ashley Jeffrey Bouck has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Most recently, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society starting in 2020. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2020, Bouck held the position of Executive Director at Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region, where they were responsible for managing a budget of over $1 million and maintaining relationships with donors and community partners. Before that, from 2004 to 2012, Bouck worked at the American Cancer Society as the Director of Prevention & Early Detection and Community Mission Manager, where they focused on advocating for legislation, providing patient navigation services, and promoting cancer prevention and early detection.
Ashley Jeffrey Bouck obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Siena College from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they have received a CFRE Certification from CFRE International in March 2022 and achieved a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021.

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society provides: sheltering and adoption, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services, a pet food pantry, dog training, humane education for all ages, cruelty investigation support, domestic violence housing, and much more. Founded in 1887, the Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization funded primarily by donations. There are many ways to get involved in helping us fulfill our mission and we encourage community members to learn about our volunteer and corporate sponsorship and involvement opportunities. Please contact us to come for a tour of our beautiful Animal Care Center in Menands, which opened in 2017. We're doing amazing things for animals and those who love them, and YOU can be part of it!
