Markus Hummel

Markus is a high-tech entrepreneur with a passion for operational perfection, earning him the nickname of “Dr. Glue” by a former investor and board member. With humble beginnings as a hardware engineer 25 years ago, Markus has since grown to lead a variety of engineering and operations teams, including holding the role of VP of Operations at Ribbit, which was acquired by British Telecom.

Markus holds a “Dipl-Ing. Nachrichtentechnik”, which makes him a German Telecommunications Engineer by education. One of Markus’ lifelong passions is music and can find him rocking out with his guitar on YouTube or Spotify. He also loves to travel with his family and works hard to stay fit, ensuring he can beat Kenny in a pull-up contest!
