Vinit Bharara

Co-Founder & CEO at Mojo

Over the course of his entrepreneurial career, Vinit has founded, developed, and sold several successful startups. He and childhood friends Marc Lore and Lax Chandra co-founded The Pit — a 25-year-old sports stock market precursor to Mojo — which they sold to The Topps Company in 2001. Later, Vinit and Marc sold Quidsi (Diapers.com, Soap.com, etc.) to Amazon in 2011, in what was then its largest cash transaction ever, at $550M.

Vinit and his brother Preet Bharara (former US Attorney of the Southern District of New York) later co-founded the nation’s leading law-centered podcast media company, Cafe, which they sold to Vox Media. Most recently, Vinit founded the largest US parenting publisher, Some Spider Studios, which he sold to Bustle Digital Group, in their biggest transaction to date.
