Julia Wright MD serves as the Chief Medical Officer at MolecuLight since July 2025, and has been with SSM Health in a Hospital Medicine Practice role since December 2014, where Julia maintains a component of direct patient care. Previous roles include Chief Medical Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas from June 2023 to June 2025, and Chief Transformation Officer and CMO at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare from July 2021 to June 2023, focusing on supporting individuals with mental illness. Julia has also held leadership positions at Ontrak, Inc., Dean Health Plan, Inc., and CogentHMG, overseeing clinical strategies and healthcare practices across various settings. Julia began a career in internal medicine at UW Health, where Julia gradually advanced to regional leadership roles and contributed to medical education as a Clinical Professor. Julia earned an MD from the University of Michigan Medical School, completing the degree from 1989 to 1993, and additional education at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health from 1993 to 1996.

Moleculight is developing a non-invasive optical technology that acquires images like standard point-and-shoot digital cameras. The device provides real-time bacteriological information which is otherwise unobtainable using industry-standard wound assessment techniques, including conventional white light visualization.The first application ofthis technology will be in the global wound care market where there is an urgent medical need and where MolecuLight can significantly improve outcomes by providing a rapid and accurate diagnosis.
