Romain Leclercq began their career in 2004 at Ford Motor Company as an Assistant Brand Manager. Romain then worked at PSA Peugeot Citroën as a Marketing Assistant in 2007. In 2008, they joined ARYZTA as a Product Manager for Confectionery & Bread. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Senior Product Manager at Procter & Gamble for Duracell. Romain then moved on to L'Oréal, where they held various roles including Strategic Marketing Manager and Category Manager for Styling, Suncare, and Bodycare from 2016 to 2017. Romain was also a Senior Category Marketing Manager for Haircare from 2012 to 2015. In 2017, they became a Marketing Manager at Sony Electronics until 2018. Currently, Romain Leclercq is employed as the Global Marketing Director at Moleskine.

Romain Leclercq completed their Bachelor of Business Studies from NEOMA Business School in 2005. Later, in 2006, they pursued a Master's in Marketing at Dublin City University.
