Donald Mitchell

Donald Mitchell serves as Vice President for Mission Integration at Molloy University, where leadership includes cultivating a mission-oriented culture and spearheading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Previously, in the role of Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Bellarmine University, Mitchell advised on DEI strategies and collaborated with various stakeholders to enhance cultural competency. Previous roles encompass academic leadership as a Full Professor of Education, where graduate-level instruction was provided, and a Coordinator of Student Academic Success Courses at Grand Valley State University. With a strong foundation in investment as President and CEO of Harris, Mitchell & Co. Investment Group, and a commitment to improving access in higher education, Mitchell holds a PhD in Educational Policy & Administration from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
