Jiarui Yan is a Product & Process Development Engineer at Momentive Technologies since August 2023, with prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from May 2020 to August 2023, conducting advanced research in ultra-microscopy techniques for studying complex colloidal particles. Previous roles include a Ceramic Powders & Shapes Engineering Co-op at Momentive Technologies, where surface chemistry of Boron Nitride powders was engineered, and an R&D Co-op at Sherwin-Williams, which resulted in a significant increase in transparency of automotive paint formulas. Jiarui Yan holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University and a BE in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
