Ari Horton

Ari Horton is an experienced Paediatric and Genetic Cardiologist currently serving at Monash Health since February 2020, where responsibilities include Clinical Lead for Schwartz Rounds and roles as both a Cardiac Geneticist and Clinical Genetics Fellow. Additionally, Ari holds a position as a Paediatric Cardiologist at MonashHeart and works casually at Royal Darwin Hospital. Previous experience includes fellowships in Adult Clinical Genetics and Cancer Genetics at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and roles as a Paediatric Registrar at both Royal Darwin Hospital and The Royal Children's Hospital. Ari began a career in paediatric cardiology at Queensland Health, an established centre for ECMO and surgical excellence. Education was completed at Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from 2004 to 2008.
