Atanas Varbanov

Atanas Varbanov currently serves as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Moneris since December 2019, in addition to holding the title of Vice President Legal. With extensive legal experience, Atanas has been a Lawyer at Sofia Bar Association since April 2004 and previously worked at Moneris Solutions Corporation as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel from September 2015 to December 2019. Prior legal practice includes a role at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where Atanas served as Lawyer, as well as holding positions as Articling Student and Summer Law Student between 2009 and 2015. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree in Civil Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
