Alessandro Orrù

Alessandro Orrù is an experienced Engineering Manager currently at Moneyfarm, where responsibilities include leading a cross-functional team focused on enhancing customer experience through the implementation of new features and metrics analysis. With a progressive career at Moneyfarm spanning from Senior iOS Developer to Engineering Lead and Engineering Manager, Alessandro has successfully architected and developed key projects, including the overhaul of the onboarding experience using a backend-for-frontend solution written in Scala. Prior to Moneyfarm, Alessandro served as Lead of iOS Development at APPLIX Srl, overseeing a team and working on the Viewerplus platform. Alessandro's foundational experience includes freelance web development using xAMP stacks and frameworks. Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
