Gurj Shergill

Gurj Shergill is an experienced executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at MoneySmart Group since November 2022. Previously, Gurj spent over a decade at Experian, holding several leadership positions including Head of Sales Excellence and Strategy Projects for APAC, where strategic planning and sales management for a 250-strong team across Asia-Pacific were key responsibilities. Additional roles at Experian encompassed Head of Commercial Operations for South East Asia, Finance Director for both South East Asia and Corporate Development in EMEA, and Head of Performance Management for EMEA. Earlier career highlights include serving as Audit Principal at the UK National Audit Office and positions at UBS Global Asset Management. Gurj holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
