Joi Okada

Joi Okada is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital and strategic investment. Currently serving as the Strategic Investment Manager for Kyujin Box at Kakaku.com since July 2016, Joi has successfully built the corporate venture capital (CVC) arm focusing on Series B-stage startups aligned with parent company objectives. Additional roles include Founder and Assistant Manager at Multi-X Capital Group, where expertise in capital raising and investor outreach is leveraged across Asia. Joi's board involvement spans several organizations, including Love, Bonito, MoneySmart Group, and previous positions at TabSquare and Hummingbird Co., Ltd., where drone training initiatives were spearheaded. Earlier career experience includes leadership at Digital Garage, Inc. and New Context, among others. Joi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Boston College.
