HsingKai Chen

HsingKai Chen has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. HsingKai started their career as an English Tour Guide at MyTaiwanTour, where they conducted tours in English for over 900 clients from different countries. During their time there, they also planned customized tours to suit the needs and interests of each customer.

After their stint as a tour guide, HsingKai worked as a Sales Representative at KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc., where they were responsible for researching and identifying prospective clients, making cold calls, and generating leads. HsingKai ranked as the top sales representative in 2017 and gained experience in all aspects of the sales process.

Following their sales role, HsingKai joined NambaWorld Co., Ltd. as a PHP Developer, where they worked with PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS. HsingKai assisted in developing and maintaining applications for a client in the game development industry, including customer complaint handling and creating site layouts and user interfaces.

In 2019, HsingKai transitioned to a role as a Product Support Specialist at Gugle, where they provided support for product-related issues.

In 2020, HsingKai joined Rakuten as a Product Manager. In this role, they managed all aspects of mobile product development for the Rakuten Horse Racing service, including researching new technologies and trends, creating specifications, designing prototypes, and testing products. HsingKai also managed a part of the web product development lifecycle and collaborated with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and synthesize requirements for development teams.

Most recently, HsingKai joined to become a Product Manager.

HsingKai Chen completed a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages with a focus on Japanese Language and Culture from Soochow University, maintained a GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0, and studied from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, HsingKai Chen also earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Science with a specialization in Political Science and Government from Soochow University during the same period.

Before attending Soochow University, HsingKai Chen engaged in a short-term study program focusing on Korean Language and Culture at Sun Moon University from 2010 to 2011.

In terms of certifications, HsingKai Chen obtained several additional qualifications. These include the Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Google in July 2021, Agile Project Management from Google in June 2021, and Google Project Management from Google in May 2021. HsingKai Chen also achieved the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 certification from The Japan Foundation in January 2021. Furthermore, HsingKai Chen holds a Golden Certificate for the TOEIC TEST obtained in January 2017. Lastly, HsingKai Chen acquired an English Tour Guide License from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, although the specific date of achievement is unavailable.
