Hannes Van Roy has work experience in various roles. In 2023, they joined Monizze as a Partnership Executive. Prior to this, they worked at Furassur Verzekeringen as an Insurance Advisor starting in 2014. In 2010, they were a Begeleider vzw Alba - Ontheming at vzw alba, where they assisted and supervised thematic trips for young people placed in youth institutions. Hannes Van Roy completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Sociale School Heverlee from 2007 to 2010. Hannes then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Criminological Sciences at KU Leuven from 2010 to 2014. Hannes'sfield of study for their Bachelor's degree was Maatschappelijk assistent, while their Master's degree focused on Criminologie.
