Jon Handzo is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in design and project management. Currently serving as an Associate and Senior Designer at Montalba Architects since June 2014, Jon has a strong background in academia as a Design Studio Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior experiences include roles as an Intern Architect at EMBT and Shortridge Architects Inc., where Jon contributed to design development and focused on residential projects. Earlier career positions include responsibilities as a Junior Architect at Kondylis Design and Preiss/Briesmeister Architects, where Jon worked on amenity spaces and municipal buildings, respectively. Jon holds a Master's degree in Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.
