Sharon Townson

Sharon Townson is an accomplished scientific leader currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President of Biomolecular Sciences at Monte Rosa Therapeutics since July 2020. In addition to these roles, Sharon Townson is a Chief Member since December 2021, contributing to a network dedicated to advancing women's leadership. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Director and Head of Platform Biology at Kymera Therapeutics and holding various senior positions at Warp Drive Bio, Eleven Biotherapeutics, Acceleron Pharma, and Pfizer. With a PhD in Structural Biology and Biophysics from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Biochemistry from The University of Salford, Sharon Townson possesses extensive expertise in biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology.
