Sharon Samples

Sharon Samples is an experienced art educator with a diverse background in teaching and mentoring within various educational settings. Currently serving as an Art Teacher for Montgomery Alabama Public Schools and Abrakadoodle, Inc., Sharon leads elementary art enrichment classes. Previous roles include Art Instructor for the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project at Auburn University and Artist Mentor for the Foundation for the Art and Science of Learning, where collaboration and guidance were key in supporting student teams. Sharon's earlier experience includes positions as a Visiting Artist and an Art Teacher in Mobile County Public School System. With a solid foundation in graphic design and photography from the University of South Alabama, complemented by further education at Athens State University, Sharon demonstrates a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic expression in students.
