Jim Stott has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years. In 1999, they began their career as a Client Application Developer for PivotPoint, which was acquired by Mapics in January 2000. At Mapics, they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Architect, and in 2005 the company was acquired by Infor Global Solutions, Inc. At Infor, Jim served as a Software Architect, providing UX design, meta-driven UI content and personalization, layout, unit tests, i18N/globalization for multiple products. Jim also served as a Developer Advocate, producing and presenting customer engineering webinars.

In 2014, Jim joined Orion Technology Services as a Senior Enterprise Architect, responsible for internal and customer application design, development, extensions, continuous integration (CI/CD), data integration, reporting, real-time monitoring, pre-sales support, and overall enrichment and support. Jim was also the development lead for a SaaS Client Portal product providing a single pane of glass interface across various applications throughout an enterprise.

In 2018, Jim joined ERGOS Technology Partners, Inc. as a Senior Enterprise Architect. Jim was the Lead DevOps engineer for multiple banking and financial projects targeting the Azure platform, providing Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies and automation development pipelines.

Most recently, Jim has been the CTO at Montra Solutions since 2019. Montra delivers innovative software and incredible service to help companies reimagine the way IT is managed. Their software automates technology-related processes from the most common to the most complex.

Jim Stott attended Pasco-Hernando State College from 1980 to 1982, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Digital Electronics and Firmware.
