🦝 Jim O'Brien

Jim O'Brien is an experienced web engineer currently working at Monzo Bank since January 2024. Previously serving as Principal Web Engineer at KSOC, Jim successfully rebuilt a legacy application and designed backend microservices while also creating bespoke visualizations. As Lead Web Engineer at Mettle, Jim developed numerous web applications and maintained various libraries. Other notable roles include JavaScript Instructor at Constructor Labs, Technical Architect and Senior Software Engineer at Mudano, Senior JavaScript Engineer at Qubit Digital, and Senior Node.js Developer at Lens.io. Jim began a career in software development at Business Web Software and furthered education at Imperial College London, graduating with an MEng in Computing in 2012.
