Rafie Mohamad

Rafie Mohamad CFA is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and investment management. Currently serving as the Deputy Group Treasurer at Monzo Bank since November 2022, Rafie previously held the position of Head of Treasury Markets at Sainsbury's Bank from July 2015 to November 2022, where responsibilities included bank treasury functions, treasury dealing, and HQLA investment. Prior to that, Rafie was a Treasury Investment Manager at Aldermore Bank PLC and worked as a Fixed Income Specialist at Man AHL. Early career experiences include roles at Bank of America, Maybank, and FM Global, focusing on trading, analytics, and corporate investment banking. Rafie holds a Master of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as other educational qualifications from SDA Bocconi, Universiti Teknologi MARA, and Royal Military College.
