Sam Watkin

Sam Watkin is an experienced professional in product development and operations management, currently serving in a Special Projects role at Monzo Bank since November 2023. Previously, Sam worked at Safi (formerly TrueCircle) as the Product & Operations Lead, where leadership was provided to the Product team, contributing to the growth of a B2B marketplace for recycled materials. Prior to that, in a Business Operations Lead position at Juro, Sam established the operations function and played a significant role in securing a $23 million Series B funding round. Sam's earlier tenure at Monzo Bank involved contributions as a Special Project Manager, focusing on the launch of Monzo Plus and Monzo Premium, and scaling the operations team significantly. Sam began a career at PwC UK, holding positions as Associate and Junior Associate. Education was completed at Oakwood Park Grammar School from 2007 to 2014.
