Selda Kao

Selda Kao is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Monzo Bank since March 2023, Selda previously held key positions at Just Eat Takeaway.com from October 2019 to March 2023, including Interim Manager and Lead Data Scientist, with a focus on experimentation enablement and causal inference. Prior experience includes roles at Fospha, where marketing mix modeling solutions were delivered, and PilotTV Media Co. Ltd., where a monitoring system for digital signages was developed. Selda's career began at the AI-Econ Research Center, National Chengchi University, as a postdoctoral researcher. Selda holds a PhD in Economics from Università di Trento and an MA in Economics from National Central University.
