Klio Maniati

Klio Maniati is a seasoned fragrance expert with extensive experience in the fragrance industry. Currently serving as the Chief Fragrance Scientist at Moodify since November 2020, Klio leverages a unique blend of science, technology, and art to develop innovative fragrant products. Prior roles include working as a Fragrance Consultant at Prefumo Fragancias, where consultancy in fragrance development and sales representation were key responsibilities, and as a Fragrance Scientist at Ladolea Olive Oil, focusing on fragrance for cosmetics. Klio's research background includes significant contributions as a PhD Research Assistant at BSCR Alexander Fleming, exploring the vibrational theory of olfaction, as well as experience as a Jr. Perfumer at VIORYL CHEMICAL & AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY, where new fragrance formulations were developed. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Olfaction from the National Technical University of Athens, complemented by a Master's in Process Energy Environmental Systems Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
