Ilya Tregubov

Ilya Tregubov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2007, they started as a Technician at the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics SB RAS, and then moved on to work as a Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2008 to 2010. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Student Consultant at UNSW Australia. In 2014, they joined Catalyst IT Australia Pty Limited as a QA Lead, and eventually transitioned to the role of Software Developer from 2016 to 2017. At Catalyst IT, they also served as a Technical Lead from 2019 to 2020. In 2018, they briefly worked as a QA Lead at SOLVO before joining Moodle as a Software Developer in 2020. From 2021, they took on the position of Analyst Developer at Moodle. Throughout their career, Ilya has demonstrated their skills and expertise in development, software quality assurance, and leadership.

Ilya Tregubov pursued their higher education in the field of Computational Mathematics. In 2003, they enrolled at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) and completed their honours degree in Computational Mathematics in 2008. Ilya furthered their academic journey by studying at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computational Mathematics.
