Michael Slater

Michael Slater is currently serving as the Music Royalties & Data Insights Manager at Moonbug Entertainment, a position held since February 2021, where responsibilities include optimizing artist potential through data analysis and identifying market gaps in children's music. Prior to this role, Michael was a Music Royalties Assistant, creating insight tools and projecting music streams to enhance revenue. Michael's experience also includes working as a Royalties Coordinator at Warner Music Group, where artist recording agreements were managed, and as a Royalties & Copyright Coordinator at Universal Music Publishing Group, focusing on deal agreements and copyright issues. Early in the career, Michael held roles at Oxfam as a Finance Assistant. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University.
