Riya Cyriac

Riya Cyriac serves as the Executive Director of The Young Writers Initiative since January 2020, overseeing a large organization with over 300 volunteers and numerous programs. Riya also works as a Technical Writer and Researcher for Moor Insights & Strategy, contributing to articles published in Forbes. Previous experience includes a Data Engineering Internship at USAA and a Teaching Assistant position for the Master's program at The University of Texas at Austin. Riya has held roles such as Supplemental Instruction Leader and Undergraduate Research Assistant, participating in research projects in digital writing. As a Product Management Intern at Simplify, Riya focused on product-user connections, and Riya gained fellow experience with the National Novel Writing Month. Education includes the pursuit of a degree at The University of Texas at Austin following studies at The University of Edinburgh and a high school diploma from Reagan High School.
